So little time.
So many rights.
And yet, we don’t enjoy them.
So many responsibilities.
We have to do them everyday.
But we don’t appreciate them.
So many opportunities,
but we don’t jump at the chance.
And then we’re mad when they don’t come around again.

We have to get up for work and school everyday.
But yet, we don’t enjoy it.
Would we rather remain unlearned and unemployed?
We go out to make money and learn more,
but we’re always looking forward to breaks.
But do we realize that if we didn’t do what we do, there wouldn’t be any?

We either don’t want or appreciate what we have.
We want what we don’t have, or can’t.
Or sometimes, we want more of what we already have.
When it comes to us, there’s no such thing as enough.
But isn’t it funny how there can be too much?
How scary would it be if too much is enough?

What’s wrong with us?
We fight for nothing
and wait around for something.
We stare at ceiling tiles,
but are afraid to look at our reflections.
What is funny is taken seriously.
And what is serious is blown out of proportion.

We always complain that we don’t have enough time.
But are we thankful that we have any?
Then it’s funny when we say that we’re waiting for time to go by
and complain that it’s passing to slowly.
We exaggerate when using the word eternity.
And we all know it takes along time.
But how much will we exaggerate and complain when it’s come to an end?
